Dolceola Announcements in The Music Trade Review

from The Dolceola Pages

These are five news announcements from the early 1900s Music Trade Review. Interesting that the inventors (the Boyd brothers) were so confident in their new product that they sold their piano and organ business to devote their full time to the Dolceola. But after just two years, L. F. Boyd seems to have had enough. He sold his "Symphony Manufacturing Co." to the newly formed "Toledo Symphony Co." to produce the instrument. Curiously, his (brother?) D. P. Boyd remained as superintendent of the new two-floor factory.
